Lineham No. 1, 1902

One 5" x 7" black & white photograph in a black 10" x 12" frame with engraved plate. The artwork comes with an illustrated and informative history pamphlet. In 1968 the site was designated "the first oil well in Western Canada" by the Historic Sites and Monuments Board of Canada. The discovery was at Cameron Creek in what is now the Waterton Lakes National Park. The Rocky Mountain Development Company used a three-pole rig to drill 309 metres, finding oil on September 21, 1902.

Dingman No. 1, 1914
